In the field of prospect appraisal, we have developed a user-friendly, PC-based program called EVA, for the reliable and consistent prediction of hydrocarbon volumes and associated geologic risk. The output of this program is linked to Excel based spread sheet programs for the analysis of the economic outcome. As former President and CEO of the Canadian Petroleum Institute, Maureau is intimately familiar with the education and training needs of the National Oil Companies of the world and can provide expert advice on creating programs for employee development, retention, mentoring and succession planning. Closely related to this, he has developed an interest in sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.
